How green you are?

Times like these, the environment is really affected for humans, who are worried only for buy all what cross his life. And these, generate always industrial production, and pollution. Owning to, is very important that exists people who cares the planet, specially because is the place that we live and all that happened to earth, happened to us, of different ways.

Personally, when I was a child, always cares the earth, sometimes I goes to plant trees to the hill, I learn to do compost and I learn about “dripping system” to water plants. I learned so many methods to care earth in the primary school.

Respect to recycle, in my house can’t recycle, cause my family don’t have time to find a recycling place, and we don’t have space for keep the glass or cardboard in my house, because my house is really small. Only I try to off lights when nothing is in the room.

Actually only to support on Greenpeace, like ciberactivist, send e-mails to people and add to demands of Greenpeace about care the environment. When distances are short I prefer use my legs, and I buy a bicycle to do exercise and reduce my carbon footprint.

Also, I was vegetarian for two years, because I loved animals and these was the way that I found to leave of feel me guilty for his pain, but the problem isn’t the consume, is the production, ever. Today my diet is normal, I returned to eat meat because I lost hope, and my parents wasn’t happy with my decision, be vegetarian produced me very complications with my family.

I think that so much problems are cause all people is very worried to be nice for the others, and be admired, is the ego the principal problem. The model of person to admire isn’t a people worried like others, is a person competitive. And when you, after all, prefer care the earth, you don’t have tools for this. The city needs places what support the recycle, municipalities worried of the pollution.

Michel Foucault

Hi classmates! Today I'm going to talk about a free post, and I chose a very special person for me, an author very important in my field; Michel Foucault.

I admire to Michel Foucault, because not is an expert, he knows of different fields and is a cross-curricular contribution for all areas to social sciences.

Michel Foucault was born on France in 1926 and died on 1984 of AIDS. He was a philosopher and historian of the ideas, he studied philosphy and psychiatry, he was really a very curious person. He has done in social science very much, his work was about investigations of social institutions; specially about jails, hospitals, and mental hospitals, also studies of the human sexuality, all around to reveal the relations of power between knowledge and discourse.

Also he was a political activist, and he was try to show that a thinker can have a politic position, because researcher can't have a biased point of view, all people he learn in every moment of his life. He was try to refuse the point of view that indicate that all researchers are neutral politically.

I like him because his ideas was very interesting and helped to my field to think how you can learn, and how this knowledge can help you to transform yourself and your self-ideas.

I think that researchers like Foucault can help at all to open our minds.

Chávez wins in Venezuela

Today, I'm going to talk about a new of “The Guardian”, and then I will connect this with my career.

The new that I chose, is the triumph of Chavez in venezuelan election, yesterday.

The venezuelan election was a really important event to all, because marked a historical moment; Chávez defined the continuity of his government. 

The election is really important in this case, because Chavez sustained 14 years of a long communist government, and win it was an opportunity to show a legitimate government, and reinforce the communism in a capitalist world.

I chose this new, because is a really special instance, here plays so much political forces, and of the election depended the future of Venezuela, his in-dependence respect to United States of America and the working and exportation of raw material. And all the possibilities of reach his self-developing and his self manners to live.

Nowadays, many countries chase a developing thinking in the present, thinking in the production for today. For this only manner of see, like the only one way, others possibilities like communism allows dream in another possibility of future. This possibilities of dream, when are in a public space, are collective. And about the new, and his importance with my future career, I can say that sociology can see how the society chose to risk it, how can communicate it could build another different ways. Blue Whale

Hello!I love animals! And this is the reason because today I'm going to talk about my favorite animal: blue whale.

Blue whale is bigger animal on the planet Earth, the bigger from the earth and ocean, since that exists this planet. It's a marine mammal, a very special animal.
Blue whale can grow to 31 meters to long and his weigh can be 84 tons. And his name is blue whale because his appearance is color blue and gray.

I love this animal because it's a very special and beautiful, I love that can communicate through sounds, this made me shake all my soul. When you see a blue whale, you can see that special things not necessarily be full all with his colors and sounds, can be in a simply form.

Blue whale lives in all oceans because his migrate all year, searching cold waters in summer and hot waters in winter. For this reason, I could see one ever, but I couldn't have one in my house, because are animals really big and his ecosystem is the sea, and I don't have a sea in my house and I think that I never could have one. They are free animals, not are dangerous, but lives in another place.

Something special from blue whales are the form of communicate, because is through sounds from low frequency between long distances in ocean. However, the sound made from humans, has made it difficult the communication between whales, also chemical contamination of seas that polluter water that whales drink, transmitting polluter from mothers to baby whales between breast milk.
For this reason, is necessary care the sea and water!

My best holidays

Today I'm going to talk about my best holidays. My best holidays were about long time ago.
When I was a child, with my family went to the south of Chile in a minibus on 1998. In these time, my uncle Patricio worked driving minibuses in Talca, and he used the minibus on january for us, in vacations.



With all my family; grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles and cousins, went in minibus to the south of Chile, and we take the oportunity and we visited distant familiars, and I met people of my family that I never saw, and I never seen again, people really interesting.
We went to Los Ángeles, Temuco, Pucón, Villarrica, Panguipulli, Lanco and many other places really beautiful. Amazing landscapes; volcanos, lakes, rivers, forests, specially because we enjoyed sunny days.
These holidays were really wonderful for me, because all my family stayed with me and we played so much, swam, we stayed in campsites and we talk so much, my grandmother related us about old tales and stories about when she met my grandfather when they were young.

   


Also, I visited places really beautiful and met wonderful people, because all this, I remembered like my best holidays.  

Next destination: India !

Is very difficult choose only one a favorite travel destination, because many places are really beautiful and very interesting, but I try to choose one. If I need choose only a place that I would like to go, I choose India.
I chose India because it's a very special place, full of colours, flavors and amazing cities.
To be honest, I don't know so much about this beautiful place, only I know indian food, and I love it.
A friend traveled last year to India and sended me to e-mail many photos of her trip.
Wonderful pictures of big palaces, elephants walking in the streets, and many fruits and beautiful flowers.

I would like travel to India because is a exotical place, magical, I think that I could learn very much meet diferent people, another customes, another culture.
I would like travel to live some months in India, and if I could find a job, better for me, but to be realist, I think that is very dificult travel to India for me, at least now, because it's really expensive, but I don't lost hope!

And now, which country would you like to go?

My first term

 I write this post very late, but "it's better later than never"
I will tell you about my first term. Now I'm in fourth grade and the last term was very complicated for me, cause my boyfriend broke up with me, and for this I was a russian mountain.
About the university, In this term, I joined Public Politics, English 3, Theory 5, Statistics 4, Structuralism and a course about a personal research called Taller I.
Taller I was realy important for me, I learned very much about me, about my experience and knowledge, but above all, everything I lack to learn!
Also, I entered to "Némesis", a journal of social sciences of this faculty, and I was assistantship of a course called qualitative methodology, and this liked me so much
In general, this term was good for me, I liked a lot my courses and read and participate  another topics.
This term I joined a lot of courses! and I hope repeat the university experience of having very activities and can meet another people. I hope endure all!
